Dark Gambit

Dark Gambit is a dark fantasy roguelike deckbuilder where your attack power depends directly on the poker hands you manage to create. The stronger the hand, the more damage you deal to whatever is standing in front of you.

Build each run around your cards

Much of Dark Gambit revolves around creating synergies. You can collect and upgrade Jokers, use Seeds and Relics, and unlock permanent Skills that shape how each run develops. The goal is not simply to survive, but to find combinations capable of pushing your score higher and higher.

Enemies keep getting tougher

Each run pits you against regular enemies, elites, and bosses with their own modifiers. Their HP keeps scaling as you progress, so a hand that worked well early on may not be enough a few rounds later. Different characters, chapters, and a large number of possible builds leave plenty of room to approach each attempt differently.
